What Should You Bring to Polycamp?
This is just a suggested list of things you may wish to bring to camp.
Use it as a checklist or to create your own list.
NOTE: There will be basic first aid supplies at camp, but bring
any OTC drugs or medications you think you personally might want or need.
Camping Gear
- Tent or other personal housing
- Sleeping bag or bedding, camp pad
- Camp chairs
- Decorations, pillows, rugs
- Trash bags
- Matches/lighter
- Good sharp knife
- Tarps, rope, bungee cords
Kitchen Gear
Each campsite has a briquette ‘stove on a stick’ and there is a communal charcoal
outdoor stove near the Lodge (it will be devided between carnivore and herbivore
cooking). There will be no refrigeration available for campers but there is one small
refrigerator that will be available to the volunteers. There is a kitchen with stove and
burners as part of the communal kitchen.
- Pots, pans, cooking utensils
- Plates, cups, forks, knives, spoons.
- Garbage bags
- Food
- Coolers, Ice
- Fold-out table and chairs (or pillows and picnic blanket)
Safety Gear
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray
- Condoms & other safe sex supplies
- Hat, sunglasses
- Hand sanitizer
- Batteries (AA, AAA)
- Hornet / Wasp trap
Personal Gear
- Any medications you need/normally take.
- Toiletry items (Shampoo, conditioner, soap)
- Towels
- Roll of TP
- Musical Instruments
