PolyQueer Discussion Panel

The polyamorous community is rich with women and men of non-standard orientations of queerness. Join us as we discuss queerness in the polyamorous community and the paradox of non-standard orientations of queerness!

I am a lesbian and have been active in the Poly Community for about six years now. I have been an arm of a stable V for going on six years, as well. My partner Hazel is bi, and we share a home with her husband, Colin. Poly is in my blood; before I knew of the word polyamorous, I was involved in a five-person relationship 12 years ago. Even without the language for compersion, boundary-setting, or NRE, we enjoyed all three together with glowing success.

This year, I organized an amateur strip event to raise funds for PolyCamp. I have been in attendance at every PolyCamp ever and I am a huge fan! As the years pass, the connections with other families that we build become a community. The power of seeing other poly families that make it work, face the challenges of poly living, and share their experience draws me back every year.
